All our vendors have been vetted by our team and we’ve been working together for years! All our vendors are local POC, LGBT, and women owned small biz that contribute to the local creative community. Our DJs, for example, are the best in the industry, are dedicated to uplifting hip hop & turntablism culture, and throw actual parties & community events. No cheesy wedding DJs here.

Wedding Package Questions

What signage is included in the classic package?

Here are the typical signs we create as part of our Classic Package:

  1. Ceremony Welcome sign

  2. Unplugged Ceremony sign

  3. Hashtag sign

  4. Guestbook sign

  5. Table #s

  6. Bar Menu

  7. Table Assignments (Organized by Table and by Name if it’s a big wedding)

  8. Buffet Menu sign

  9. Dessert Bar

  10. Name Place cards (only if plated meal)

Can I opt to do the signage design myself?

Yes, absolutely! You can totally do the signage design yourself, and that would save you $480 from the package total.

Vendor Questions

How are new VENDORS added to the collective?

Current vendors have been hand selected by our team because they have been vetted and have worked with us for years, but we will eventually open up to new members. Ways you can get involved:

  • Fill out this form to be considered as a potential vendor for future opportunities.
  • In Fall 2024, we will be producing our FIRST Wedding Show that will feature diverse vendors. This is the main way we will be vetting new vendors to potentially add them into the collective, so make sure you join our mailing list and fill out the vendor form to be in the know.

How are new VENUES added?

All our current venues were chosen since we’ve produced many events already at the venues, they allow our vendors in the space, and we feel their values align with ours. If you’re interested in adding your venue onto our list, please fill out this form.

We will need to vet each venue to make sure it aligns with our budget and policies around accessibility. Venues must allow all our main wedding vendors and caterers, and ideally our bar vendors if possible (although bar is not a deal breaker).

It seems like there are a lot of Filipino vendors in the collective. Are you planning to diversify?

Yes, and yes! Over the past 7 years, our parent company Make it Mariko has been strategically partnering with Kultivate Labs & SOMA Pilipinas Cultural District to build the Filipino entrepreneur & creative community through our signature festival, UNDISCOVERED SF. We’re so proud of all the Filipino event vendors that we’ve been able to find and build with through this event, especially since when we first started we hardly knew ANY Filipino event vendors! 

We wanted to launch Weddings In Color with our trusted partners that we know and love, but now we’re excited about bringing in NEW vendors to expand the collective and provide more options for our diverse group of Clients.
