It’s always a joy when my clients take me back to my alma mater, UC Berkeley. As a Berkeley alum, I’m excited to now be one of the preferred planners for their onsite wedding & event venue, The Faculty Club. Funny story, I actually graduated on the Faculty Club lawn from the Philosophy Department back in the day!
We had so much fun designing and planning Tyler & Joliz’s Red Barn Ranch wedding in Hopland, CA! Tyler and Joliz were one of the sweetest couples and their love for one another was always so clear and present. They had met, dated, and had a connection before but timing wasn’t right. Then a serendipitous LinkedIn message helped reconnect them at the perfect time, and they were inseparable ever since.
Olivia and Steven’s wedding was nothing short of a fairytale. When Olivia originally reached out to me about planning her wedding, I was immediately excited about their vision — a small, intimate wedding at Tilden Park with white vintage furniture. I said, count me in!
I loved Hillary and Stuart from our first meeting at Blue Danube cafe on Clement Street. They were huge Warriors fans, also lived in Inner Richmond (before I moved), and we clicked immediately and felt like old friends. Hillary had grown up at Japantown’s JCCCNC (Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California), so they were naturally getting married at Japantown. But the tricky part was the reception would be at the JCCCNC in a newly remodeled basketball gym!
