MIDSUMMER KITCHEN
Full Service Caterer & Bar Service
Nourishment that lasts beyond one day
Led by partners in life and business, 1st Gen Filipino-Americans Chef Ryan and Cleodia Martinez began catering in 2011. When the pandemic gave them pause, they took the opportunity to focus on health and wellness. Cleodia pursued studies in nutrition while Ryan practiced cooking more plant-heavy dishes. This led the family to adopt a plant-forward eating habit and improved their health significantly.
At Midsummer Kitchen, we create plant-forward, multicultural menus designed to nourish the here and now. Inspired by the flavors of the Bay Area, we believe that food and gathering is a living expression of oneness – connection, community, and belonging. Welcome to our shared table!
Banquets are our specialty. While we’ve catered events for up to 3,000 guests, most of our work
focuses on receptions with 75-300 people. We’ll help you create shared experiences that nourish
your guests and spark connection beyond one day. Our professional team serves as an extension of your hospitality – warm, seamless, and dedicated to making your event feel both effortless and unforgettable.
Most underrated wedding food?
The veggies, of course! Dishes like garlic green beans, lentil stew, or a papaya salad seem simple but when prepared well, they shine and delight guests. It’s an added bonus that they now have a positive memory with nutritious food!
